ADJUSTORS

Adjustors are chemicals used to modify the pH level in a solution. Acidic adjustors will lower the pH, while a caustic or alkaline adjustor will increase the pH. The level of pH is determined by the application of its use and the chemicals introduced. It is essential that pH remains within a designated range due to the changes that can occur when certain chemical substances are out of their normal pH limitations. Triple Point’s water treatment specialists can help you determine if your system needs an adjustor to control the pH level.
